SLAC (Something Like A Club)
We didn’t create SLAC to be the next club. There are already enough of those.
We created Something Like A Club to be with you — not above you, not ahead of you, not separated by labels or expectations. Just people showing up, spending time together, sharing space, sharing thoughts, sharing laughs.
SLAC is about participation. About listening. About being present.
Runs, cleanups, hikes — the label doesn’t matter.
What matters is the action and the intention behind it.
It’s about the moments in between: the conversations during a run, the quiet on a hike, the small jokes during a cleanup. Doing something together without needing a bigger reason than that. Trying to make a difference, even if it’s small, even if it’s slow.
We believe community isn’t built by saying the word community. It’s built by showing up. By caring. By trying. By wanting to create something meaningful with people, not for them.
SLAC isn’t finished. It isn’t defined. It’s a starting point. A mood. A movement in motion. So let’s create, let’s listen, let’s move, let’s change — together.
