Clean Up Walk, Schwaz

Clean Up Walk, Schwaz

31 May 2026

We show up.

Thirteen people. Two hours. Schwaz urban area and the industrial strip.

That's 17 kg of trash we pulled out of the places we run through.

Not because we had to. Not because someone asked us to. Because the places where we move, where we breathe, where we spend our time — they take care of us. And sometimes, you show up for the things that matter to you. Even if it's unglamorous. Especially then.

The industrial area was rough. You find things there you don't want to find — broken plastic, metal shards, the kind of rubbish that tells a story nobody wanted to tell. But that's what matters. Not the Instagram-friendly cleanup on a perfect trail. The real work. The places people walk past without looking.

We grabbed bags. We grabbed sticks. We picked up what was there.

Afterward, at our aid station — fruit, water, nothing fancy — everyone got a small goodie bag. Because picking up trash and spending two hours together counts. Because you show up for each other, and then you acknowledge it. Simple as that.

Then we went to a pizzeria. Because after two hours of moving and caring and doing the work that nobody sees, you sit down together. You eat. You talk. You remember why this matters.

That's Something Like A Club.

We don't make this complicated. We don't need the perfect conditions or the perfect moment or the perfect story. We just show up. We care for the place. We're there for each other.

Thirteen people. One morning. Seventeen kilos. And a pizza that tasted like community.

See you next time.
